Minnesota Legal Marijuana Now State Convention Held in Minneapolis

Legal Marijuana Now Party held its First Anniversary Minnesota State Convention on January 24 at Sociable Cider Werks in Northeast Minneapolis.
Among other items of business on the agenda was the election of party officers for 2016.
Michael Ford was elected Chairperson, Leila Giannetti was elected Secretary, Dan Vacek was reelected Treasurer and Marty Super was elected to the position of Officer-at-large.
The four officers and Senior member Oliver Steinberg comprise the voting Head Council of the Minnesota Legal Marijuana Now Party organization.

Getting a candidate onto the ballot in a special election is an accomplishment, even if he doesn't win.
Jon Gettman, Cannabis Policy Director for High Times Magazine penned a very nice article about Zach Phelps' campaign. He wrote, "There's a lot to learn here for legalization supporters throughout the country."
